Interventional Cardiologist
Dr. Orlando attended the Ross University School of Medicine before his residency at UMDNJ followed by his fellowship in cardiology at UMDNJ Medical School. He completed his fellowship in interventional cardiology at North Shore University and Long Island Jewish Health System. Dr. Orlando also enjoys his time with his family as well as playing baseball, football, and scuba diving.

AJ completed his BA in Psychology from Rutgers University. He also obtained his MS in Physician Assistant Studies from Monmouth University, Long Branch, NJ. AJ works closely with our Physicians at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Ocean Medical Center, and other area hospitals. In his spare time he enjoys hiking, playing guitar, and performing improv comedy.

Dr. Girgis obtained his medical degree from the State University of New York at Stony Brook. He received his postgraduate training at Staten Island University Hospital 1990-1993, fellowship in cardiovascular medicine as well as fellowship in cardiovascular electrophysiology from the University of Miami, Jackson Memorial Medical Center 1993-1997. He specializes in Wolff-Parkinson-White syndrome, supra ventricular tachycardia, AV node reentry tachycardia, AV node ablation, biventricular pacemaker, and defibrillators. Dr. Girgis is also an avid soccer player and enjoys time with his wife and young twins.

After attending MCP Hahnemann University School of Medicine, Dr. Sandler trained in internal medicine at Washington Hospital Center and later his cardiovascular training at North Shore University and Long Island Jewish Hospital. His specialties include congestive heart failure, echocardiography, nuclear stress imaging, and stress echocardiography. Dr. Sandler enjoys time with his family in his spare time as well as baseball, football, and playing the guitar.

Dr. Chu attended the Taipei Medical College before heading stateside to complete his residency at JSUMC followed by his fellowship in cardiology at St. Vincent’s Medical Center of Richmond and New York Medical College. His fellowship in interventional cardiology was completed at the University of Rochester, Strong Memorial Hospital, and Rochester General Hospital. Dr. Chu specializes in interventional cardiology, coronary angioplasty, valvular heart disease, angina pectoritis, and preventative cardiology. In his spare time, he enjoys table tennis, scuba diving, and skiing.

Dr. Aaron obtained his medical degree from the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine. He then continued his training at Coney Island Hospital, along with his fellowship in cardiovascular disease, invasive cardiology, transesophageal echocardiology, and nuclear cardiology. He specializes in ischemic heart disease, valvular heart disease, angina pectoritis and preventative cardiology. Dr. Aaron loves to cook, travel, and spend time with his family

Dr. Weiss received his medical degree from State University of New York Downstate Medical School. His postgraduate training began at Montefiore Hospital along with his fellowship training at Long Island Jewish Medical Center as well as Maimonides Medical Center. His specialties include interventional cardiology, coronary angioplasty, valvular heart disease, angina pectoritis, and preventative cardiology.

Lauren completed her BS in Physician Assistant Studies from Wagner College, Staten Island, NY along with her National Physician Assistant Certification. She works closely with our physicians at Shore Heart Group as well as our Nuclear Study Laboratory. When she is not at Shore Heart Group she is spending time with her husband and 3 children.
Haroon finished his BS in Physician Assistant Studies at the City College of New York before completing his MS in Advanced Physician Assistant Studies from Wagner College, Staten Island, NY. He is a certified Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist and Cardiac Device Specialist and works hand in hand with our Director of Electrophysiology and Pacing here at Shore Heart Group.
Connie obtained her BS in Biology from George Mason University in Fairfax, VA. She completed her MS in Physician Assistant Studies from Monmouth University, Long Branch, NJ. When she is not working with our physicians and patients in the office, she enjoys curling up with a good book or compelling literature.
